The retreat will be held at the site of the BMUP music festival, on the south side of Black Mountain/ Kalkajaka National Park, around 25 mins south of Cooktown. There are spacious shady campgrounds, a large open shed with kitchen, tables, and lounge area for meals and relaxing. Yoga sessions will be held under a large marquee. There are clean, permanent “longdrop” toilets and hot showers. There is a beautiful rainforest spring for dips or quiet reflection. It is a rustic setting with all the basic necessities, but not a 5-star resort!. We don’t encourage driving back and forth during the retreat, as there are cows and horses on the roads at night and early morning, and you may be tired by the end of the day.
Directions:
From Cooktown: drive south on the Mulligan Highway, take the Rossville/ Bloomfield turn-off. Just down the road a bit you’ll see the BMUP sign on the left - drive in and you're there.
