Session definitions/ descriptions:
Asana- physical stretches, poses
Pranayama- practices that focus on the breath
Yoga Nidra- (“yoga sleep”) guided relaxation practice
Meditation- silent or guided meditation
Vinyassa- a method of yoga in which vinyasa movements (asanas) form a flowing sequence in coordination with the breath
Bamboo Bending: a gentle flowing practice, moving in a Tai Chi style with bamboo sticks
Kirtan- an ancient form of singing or chanting- call and response of repetetive mantras. Bring your instruments or your voice to join in this joyous Bhakti yoga practice
Mudra - a symbolic or ritual gesture or pose, that is usually performed with the hands and fingers. (Gyan mudra picture below)
