Relax - Release - Revive
Join us for a weekend at the beautiful BMUP festival site located 25 minutes south of Cooktown. The retreat will include a wide range of yoga practices, from gentle stretching to advanced asana, relaxation and meditation sessions led by an experienced team of teachers.
There will be a focus on relaxation and healing for those who are recovering from cyclone Jasper or other life stressors.
Plus fun, heart opening kirtan music in the evening!
All levels of yoga experience are welcome.
Commences 3pm Friday 30th August with time to set up tents and relax. Wraps up by 3pm Sunday.
The retreat will feature kirtan music led by APRA award winning musician Ohad Rein (bhaktiparty.com). This Bhakti yoga practice is an ancient and simple form of music that helps us to open our hearts, free our minds and express our selves. Bring an instrument, or just your voice, and feel the joy!
Accommodation at the retreat is “bring-your-own” tent or swag. There are spacious shady campgrounds and a large open shed with kitchen, tables, and lounge area for meals and relaxing. Yoga sessions will be held under a large marquee. There are clean, permanent “longdrop” toilets and hot showers. There is a beautiful rainforest spring for dipping toes and quiet reflection. It is a rustic setting with all the basic necessities- the perfect place to enjoy a weekend of yoga away from the distractions of the world.
Note there is no phone reception at the retreat.
Healthy, filling and delicious mostly vegetarian food will be provided by our beloved local caterer Bektopia. Most food allergies can be accommodated upon request.
$300 per person includes all yoga sessions, camping, food and drinks for the weekend. To register please follow the link:
